How does it work?
Full Strap Set
Send us one seat, one back and one arm. We then use that as our guide for dimension, stitching pattern and color. Though, you can have us color whatever color you want as we start with raw leather. Click on the Resources tab for more information. And, click on Forms for the address.
Send your existing seat for dimension, stitching pattern and color matching.
It can be removed by undoing 4 bolts. (See instructions under the Resources Tab.) It requires a metric Allen wrench. Once you have the "U" shaped seat frame released, the leather slides off. If you want us to mount the new replacement seat on that "U" shaped frame for you, ship the seat frame along with your broken seat.
Seat Strap
The Advanced Leather Solutions’ team guide you every step of the way with detailed written and video instructions and our knowledgable staff are available to answer all your questions.
We start with raw vegetable tanned leather, cut and custom color each strap by our skilled technicians in our California factory. We will match your desired color, and as importantly the dimensions of your particular chair. The vegetable tanned leather quality, character and thickness is consistent with the original Knoll or Stendig chairs providing decades of worry-free use. We create matching replacement straps regardless of who manufactured your chair. There can be dimensional differences from frame to frame. We make sure every replacement strap is color matched and fits perfectly.
